So you've just downloaded LINE WEBTOON (or you just visited the website on your computer), but don't know where to start! Never fear, for tutorial number 1 is here!
On Mobile Edit
- Download LINE WEBTOON from the app store specific to your device.
- Open the app, the following screen should be shown:

- If you already have a webtoon in mind that you want to read, use the search bar in the upper right hand corner.
- If you don't have an idea of a webtoon you'd like to read, you have a couple of options:
- Check out the recommended titles at the top.
- Go to the WEBTOON tab at the bottom.
- Go to the DISCOVER tab.
Here's an overview of all of the screens:
For You Edit
Click on the "FOR YOU" tab. You should be prompted with a screen like this:
This is a quick overview of the webtoons you've read recently. If you'd like to see a full list of read webtoons, see MY.
Click on the "WEBTOON" tab. You should be prompted with a screen like this: (insert image here) This shows you a list of webtoons sorted by either daily uploads or genre. It is a great place for finding webtoons that you'd like to read.
You are currently on the "DAILY" tab, which shows popular webtoons, sorted by your interests, by uploading schedule.
Click on the "GENRE" tab at the top. You should see a screen like this: (insert image here) Here you can search for webtoons, sorted by popularity, via their genre.
Click on the "DISCOVER" tab. You should be prompted with a screen like this: (insert image here) The top shows recommended titles for you. These are currently trending webtoons. Under Weekly HOT, it shows the leaderboards for trending webtoons. Fresh Picks shows webtoons that were recently picked by the Naver team to be featured. And Genres takes you to the GENRE tab, which is like the one on the webtoon tab, but sorted by date.
Click on the "MY" tab. You should be prompted with a screen like this: If you have not had any activity on LINE WEBTOON, there should not be anything here. "RECENTS" shows your recently viewed webtoons in order of last viewed. "SUBSCRIBED" shows the webtoons you are subscribed to. "DOWNLOADS" shows the webtoons you've downloaded. "COMMENTS" shows all the comments you've left. You can remove these from the lists at any time.
Click on the "MORE" tab. You should be prompted with a screen like this: SEARCH allows you to directly search for a webtoon. SETTINGS gives you options to customize your webtoon experience. FAN TRANSLATION gives you webtoons that have been translated into other languages. We'll have a tutorial on that in the future.
